Pruhl:
The pruhl are spread over the vast savannas of Metonia. As the pruhl are such communal creatures, they need a way to communicate over large tracts of land. Luckily, the pruhl can communicate using infrasonic sounds, sounds < 20 Hz. These sounds are able to travel further and faster than human hearing (20 Hz to 20 kHz), due to their lack of heat production through sound carrying mediums. The pruhl produce these infransonic sounds through vibrations of their vocal chords, also known as the myoelastic-aerodynamic (MEAD) method. This allows the pruhl stay in touch with each other over a 500 km radius.
My cheeks, they flutter.
The sounds they utter,
Move over ground I can’t cover.
My family, far.,
But on-ly, a sound, away…
I communicate with them,
The infrasonic way!
