Ehgys:
Ehgys hibernate for long periods and awaken at the start of the kurkle mating season. They then form large bubbles, which collect and stick the kurkles and their eggs. Slurping strongly, the ehgys collects this kurkle-ridden bubble and through its porous body, the food is collected and stored. The ehgys repeats this process until full, and then slowly uses the stores of kurkles over the following months. When the kurkle stores are mostly depleted, the ehgys go back into hibernation.
Tall and wide,
The ehgys hides, inside its pretty shell.
The bubble goes out,
The bubble goes in.
All those kurkles,
Never to be seen again!
